IQFood / For trainers
For personal trainers and coaches
Trainer Mode is free. Any IQFood user can enroll as a coach. Clients who connect with you agree to share their data, and you follow what they log (meals, weight, check-ins and their estimated curves) in a coach dashboard, with a chat. Clients can disconnect at any time.
How it works
- Enroll. In the app, open Profile and choose Coach on IQFood. Enrolling is free; you agree to the IQFood Trainer Terms. Add a bio and your certifications to your coach profile.
- Connect with clients. Send a trainer request from Connections, or share your coach link. Your client accepts in the app and consents to sharing their health data with you. A client has one trainer at a time.
- Follow your practice. A switch at the top of the app moves between your own health and your coaching practice. The practice view lists clients who logged, went quiet, skipped logging or wrote to you, most urgent first. Tap a client for their full dashboard.
- Talk. Chat with each client inside IQFood, next to their data.
What stays private
- Clients choose to share their data with you and can disconnect at any time. Disconnecting removes your access; you stay friends and the chat history is kept.
- Your own health data is separate. Clients never see your personal data.
- Coaches on IQFood are independent. IQFood does not employ them or supervise their advice, as set out in the Terms.
What it costs
Trainer Mode costs nothing for coaches or clients, and enrolled coaches use IQFood free while they coach. Clients use the free app; AI meal logging is part of Premium, and new accounts get a period of free Premium. See pricing.
How it fits your coaching
Keep running your programs wherever you run them. IQFood is where you see the nutrition side: what your clients eat, how their weight trend is moving and how their days look, without asking for screenshots.
IQFood's curves are model-based estimates, not measurements, and IQFood is not a medical device. Nutrition advice for medical conditions belongs with a qualified professional.
