QFood (“we”, “us”) provides a website waitlist and is developing a nutrition and health-related mobile application.

Waitlist (website):

  • Email address (required)

  • Metadata such as signup time, source/page (optional technical fields)

When the mobile app launches (future):
We may collect additional information you provide in the app (such as nutrition logs, weight stats, goals). If we do, we will update this Privacy Policy before collecting new categories of data.

3. Why we collect it (purpose)

We use your waitlist email to:

  • Confirm your subscription

  • Notify you when IQFood launches

  • Send launch-related updates (only related to IQFood)

4. Legal basis (GDPR-style wording)

We process your email based on:

  • Consent (you entered your email and requested updates)
    You can withdraw consent at any time via the unsubscribe link.

5. How we store and protect data

We store waitlist data in our backend database and use security measures designed to protect it from unauthorized access, alteration, or loss. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we aim to use appropriate safeguards.

6. Sharing & processors (third parties we use)

We use trusted service providers to run the service, including:

  • Wix (website hosting and forms/UI components)

  • Google Firebase / Google Cloud (backend services such as Cloud Functions and database)

  • Amazon Web Services (AWS SES/SNS) (email sending and bounce/complaint processing)

  • Cloudflare (DNS management)

These providers process data only to provide services to us.

7. Email communications

Every marketing-style email includes:

  • An Unsubscribe link (stops further marketing emails)

  • A Delete my data link (requests deletion of your waitlist record)

8. Data retention

We keep your waitlist email:

  • Until you unsubscribe, delete your data, or

  • Until the waitlist is no longer needed (e.g., after launch), unless we need it longer for legitimate operational reasons

9. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

  • Access your data

  • Correct your data

  • Delete your data

  • Object or restrict processing

  • Withdraw consent

10. Cookies

11. Children
